A Thousand Cuts is the 6th chapter in Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days.
Narrative[]
After Lynch surrendered, they were captured by Hsing and his men.
Kane, Lynch, and Xiu are brutally tortured by Hsing in a bathroom. Believed dead, Lynch is dumped in an alleyway. When he regains consciousness he kills Hsing and saves Kane, but is too late to save Xiu, who has been raped and skinned alive. Both Kane and Lynch are naked and badly lacerated with box cutters but they still escape into the city, fighting their way through another SWAT team in the process.

Trivia[]
- The chapter's name is a reference to the Lingchi, it is a form of torture and execution and also known as "death by a thousand cuts".
- In the Japanese version, Kane and Lynch are dressed instead of naked, and the cuts and blood have been drastically reduced. Xiu is lying under a blanket.
- It is the only chapter where Lynch is seen without sunglasses.
